Hotel Bezzi Tonale - Case di Viso - Rifugio Bozzi - Monte Serodine - Tonale

This breathtaking and wonderful excursion will gift you many emotions. From the hotel, ride downhill for 5 kilometres approximately along the state highway; take the Tonalina unpaved road, leading you into the Stelvio National Park and into the charming Val di Viso. To reach the Rifugio Bozzi (2478 m) from Case di Viso (1753 m), ride uphill along the former military road (sign number 52) for 10 kilometres approximately, featuring some hairpin turns, some 15% slopes and an elevation gain of 725 metres. At the mountain hut, you can have something to eat and drink, while admiring the awesome Punta Albiolo and the Corno dei Tre Signori, visible in the distance. After this break, back on the road to return to the hotel: ride along the path siding the mountain, without retracing the outward route. From the Rifugio Bozzi, leave behind you the peak of Passo dei Contrabbandieri (from where you can easily reach Tonale), Cima Casaiole and the western Tonale mount (our hotel is right behind this part of the mountain). Take the path number 2 of the so-called Alta Via Camuna and continue along the mule-track till Le Sorti peak (2433 m), outflanking the mountain and descending towards Tonale. The itinerary is generally flat and the view is really breathtaking: you are on the highest balcony over the Camonica Valley. Pass the Serodine mount and its valley, till reaching the Nigritella hut; from here, go back to the hotel riding along the unpaved road zigzagging along the ski slopes.
